Scry in MTG

Look at cards from the top of your library, then keep them there or put them on the bottom.

Why it matters

To scry a number, look at that many top cards, put any number on the bottom of your library in any order, then put the rest on top in any order.

Common mistakes

  • Scry does not draw or reveal the cards you inspect.
  • You cannot change the order of cards moved to the same destination unless you scry more than one.
